Hello, and welcome to Robbins on the net. We are so glad that you are taking a few minutes out of your day to look around! Here, you will find some of the things that make up Robbins (the ministries, the teams, the things we care about) but the true character, personality, and passion of the people that make up Robbins is best experienced in person. Like all websites, this is only a small piece of Robbins- and we would be more than happy to show you the rest and best of us. So after you have browsed the site, come check us out in person- all are welcome!

What to expect:

Robbins is a come-as-you-are church. The people dress in lots of styles, from casual dress to jeans and t-shirts. We won’t single you out as a guest, you may remain as anonymous as you want.

What about my kids?

We have a safe and secure Nursery for your kids from birth through 3 years during worship celebration and 11 a.m. class time. There is also a time for your elementary aged kids to get their own lesson during part of the worship celebration in our kids worship time. They will be excused part way through the celebration and come back at the end. Or they can stay with you all the way! It is your choice as per your comfort and preference.

Who We Are:

We are people seeking connection with God and with others. We exist to glorify God and make disciples through authentic relationships, worshiping regularly and learning to live God’s Word in unselfish service.

What We Believe:

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, revealing His mercy and forgiveness, giving eternal life to those who believe and except Jesus as Savior.

The most familiar verse from the New Testament (the witness of Jesus’ life) is John 3:16: “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” It’s a reminder of the depth of love that God has for us. As followers of Jesus Christ, his new commandment  is to love others as he has loved. Wow! That is an elaborate love! This is why we join together each week to honor that love and love one another in prayer and action.

At Robbins United Methodist Church we design our worship celebrations so that people will experience the love of God and are able to express their love for God. With a relaxed atmosphere and relevant messages, Robbins invites you to come as you are.

At Robbins, we recognize that people find purpose and joy when they give back out of their gifts and abilities. Whether it is serving on a team in the church, serving our local community, serving on a short-term mission trip, or some combination of all 3, there is a place for everyone.

There are many teams that serve our faith community. From our choir to our teachers to our finance people and our youth team, many people serving at many different levels make it possible for all to love God – connect with people – grow in Christ – serve where God calls.

Robbins also has a long history and deep commitment to reaching beyond our walls to the community nearby and the far reaches of our world. Not only do we send thousands of dollars each year to various missions, our people put their hands to work in places like the hills of Tennessee and the mountains of Guatemala.

Check out some of our teams and missions opportunities!
